Technology in the workplace has become ever more prominent in this day and age where organizations are taking advantage of all of the benefits that it has to offer.
Business organizations are finding that the advantages of new technology is not only beneficial for them but also for other internal and external stakeholders such as employees and business conducted in other areas of the world. In a world where the standard email, phone call, meet in person or fax went a long way in the world of communication, it is all now being replaced with instant messaging, video conferencing, and the cloud. Most employees are no longer working in the office so it is important for internal and external stakeholders in an organization to adapt and learn new technology to be able to effectively communicate with one another. It is also the responsibility of an organization to provide the necessary software and training to ensure that loss of profit does not happen through the lack or lapse of ineffective communication (cmswire.com, 2021).
