Technological advancements have changed the way culture and society interact with one another, and how they identify with technology.
Mass media has evolved and has influenced the way cultures and societies communicate with one another. From the 1800s until now people have always found ways to communicate through various different mediums of telegraph, newspapers, writing to one another through correspondence, radio, television, and through the internet. Each one of these outlets has enabled the people within culture and society to express their expectations, beliefs, and feelings towards one another, businesses, and products at a much vast, quick, and public manner. Finding one's technological identity is determining the kind of input or output is being posted for users and audiences that is a representation or extension of who they are or who they are representing on behalf of. While there is still ongoing convergence of mass media outlets going digital, cultures and societies expectations will continue to emerge of one another and what technological advancements can be used to best express one's self or business (press.rebus.community, n.d.).
